I may be busy at the moment but that doesn’t stop me from being annoyed with the fact that I haven’t been able visit my fellow Bloggers Blogs or build up a regular momentum with my own BLOG posts.
I’ve been thinking a lot about change and opportunities…for example, before we closed the business, we had an opportunity to specialise and provide off-the-shelf solutions to a particular sector.
After all our hard work and time in supplying a particular organisation with a ‘bells and whistles’ solution, we later found out, that we couldn’t rely on a positive testimonial and recommendation as that organisation decided not to utilise the product.
The lack of testimonials and recommendations is akin to a death trap for small businesses, especially here in Britain.
That helped us to make up our mind, call it a day and go on a journey to bigger and better things.
I still have an insatiable desire to make a positive mark and I’ve had to think long and hard about certain aspects of my life in order to do so.
Lois and I both have to embrace change quickly and we have no problems in doing so, even if that means that we he have to make some tough decisions.
For me, one of those decisions concerns my writing…in order for me to build ‘consistent’ momentum with my posts, visit and read fellow writers BLOGS and complete a very important project, I’m going to have to specialise and lose my ‘jack of all trades’ status.
I will save my opinions (on the various aspects and issues of life, which affect us all) for my fellow Bloggers posts, social events, dinner parties etc.
Relationships will be my speciality and ‘For Singles and Couples’ will be my BLOG, to develop my speciality and illustrate parts of my project.
Past experiences have taught me to expect the unexpected, be prepared to work hard and deal with disappointments and set-backs.
I also have to relax and enjoy the highs which occur, accept the recognition and pleasant surprises from the most unexpected places and to always be prepared to be flexible, in order to embrace the necessary changes, which occur.
Above all, while I’m embracing the changes, I’m going to do my very best to enjoy the journey.
Before I submit another post, I will be answering my comments received and visiting others in the WordPress world.
Hopefully I’ll see you on the For Singles and Couples BLOG and hopefully you will contribute, when you can…
It’s always appreciated.
